Maidendale was established XXXX and has three main ponds and benefits from Local Nature Reserve status. There are a number of tracks in and around the area for walking and cycling with walking links taking you out of the town to the other side of the outer ring road.
The green spaces runs to 8.15 Ha so one of the largest green spaces in Darlington.
